Story behind the song
Percussionist Webe Alan 12 was studying Yage culture in Patagonia in his anthropology graduate studies program when he encountered what he calls "orange pixies" in a sweat ceremony in 1973. Evidently they followed him home to the States. He still encounters them from time to time to this day. He says they're 'troublesome'. The lyrics are partially true.
