Story behind the song
i worked out if the country for a short time and it really hit my 8 year old daughter bad , she wondered if i was ever going to be back home for good and i didnt realize just how bad it got for her while i was away ... but when i returned her life sprang back to her old self again ... this song was written to remind anyone who is going leave their family behind to think of the kids feelings more than anything thing else ..... i guess that was my mistake ...
