Recently rejoining the latest electronic dance music scene, bSound (Steve Bates), started his music career in Seattle in the 70's, as a drummer. Moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and started engineering and mixing records as well as film scores. Steve settled in working for many years with producer/composer Giorgio Moroder. During that time (80's - 90's), he remixed quite a few dance records, including some that charted in the top 10 by notable artists such as Philip Oakey, Sparks, Limahl, Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder. After an almost 14 year break from music, Steve Bates has returned once again to dance music, this time as a recording artist/producer.
