Story behind the song
This is probably the most melancholy piece of music I've ever written. I was in quite a bit of a funk, so I decided to try and write my way out of it. The result is "The Long Dark Night Of the Soul," a reference to a spiritual crisis, of feeling disconnected from or abandoned by G*d.
