Co.Z is a new age hip hop rhythm and pop group made up of two young do-it-yourselfers with a unique sound and image. The pair write, produce, record, mix and master their own songs, design their own album art work, and have even been know to arrange photo shoots in the wild. Although they can act autonomously, they have no fear of collaboration, and try to incorporate aspects of many different styles of art and music into their own adding their personal Co.Z spin. While holding on to the sometimes hard hitting sounds of hip hop, the almost too catchy riffs of pop, and the gotta-have-it bass lines and vocal rolls of r&b and neo-soul, Co.Z breaks away from the overplayed lyrical content and the re-run public images seen in much of today’s music. Company ZoJa are distracted students, former equestrians, thespians, ryhmers and rhythmers, bridging coasts and musical styles to bring you eclectic electric sound art for the new age.
