I'm glad to use my wild array of talents to share with the global community, as well as a way of serving the Creator who gave me these talents. He deserves the
It was not until I was ten that my parents starting noticing I had any interest in music whatsoever, and it was not until 2007 that I actually picked up the hobby of musical composition and production. I have had more than enough dimensions of inspiration - my life journey, my friends, my family, and my Savior - and I know for a fact that I will never produce even a tenth of all the joyful songs I have written. I am more than glad to use the extraordinary talents that God has given me for His glory and to inspire others. I have been blessed far beyond measures of human comprehension, and the least I can do in return is give my life to the One who started it all. I am an American, to be sure . . . however, that does not mean I was born or raised in America. As a missionary kid, I have been to corners of the globe that only National Geographic has taken most of my friends. I have experienced God at work in so many different and powerful ways, and I can express only a fraction of my emotions through some of the songs that you may be listening to right now. I am no more perfect than any other human being: I have seen indescribable joy, and I have seen heart-shredding despair. But through it all, God is still mine and I am still His, and I am going to forever praise His name . . . would you care to join me?

Lyrics
Verse 1 I’m so surprised when you decide to join the team of greater size I’m still your friend but in the end you’ll see how many times I’ve lied The things I’ve seen and heard and done the times I sat when I could run They call this life It’s football hockey sports and school and parties by the swimming pool As money grows on money trees I’m cruising on the open seas I absolutely have no doubt that this is what it’s all about It feels just right Chorus 1 Oh why are you surprised; it’s always been this way Oh I honestly don’t know why; it’s just a little bit of reality today Verse 2 I think I might stay up all night and sleep in class when out of sight I don’t wanna be left behind when we hit Daylight’s Savings Time I’ve tried to whiten up my teeth but now they hurt and I can’t eat Oh well what’s new My girlfriend plays the violin I’ll hate it till the world ends But in the meantime in the sunshine let’s go out and have a fun time The park is open let’s keep hoping we can have a picnic too Chorus 2 Oh the sun is shining bright; let’s go out and play Oh let’s party right into the night; it’s just a little bit of reality today Bridge What do you, what do you, what do you want to do today What do you, what do you, what do you want to do today What do you, what do you, what do you want to do today What do you, what do you, what do you want to do today Chorus 3 Oh open up your eyes; it’s another lovely day Oh welcome it with your arms open wide; it’s just a little bit of reality today
