Story behind the song
Well Pimp C isn't someone I ever listened to. To me he was one of those rappers people who smoke or something would like. I don't smoke or drink and thus him and all those other rappers who add a lil comedical style to the rap world don't really tickle my fancy. But out of respect for texas, where some of my favorite rappers are from... who also worked with this man... I did this freestyle. Then something just came over me in the middle of it and I began to notice this "Way of the Rapper" , "Way of the Warrior" , "Way of the Soldier" thing going on. That's when i turned it into something pointed at me and other rappers and those legends that fell in the past. Just like the soldier's way is to die in battle ... like Achilles, King Arthur, Leonidas, Alexander, and the troops fighting our wars now and who died bravely in the past, It is the rappers way to go out on the stage, in the studio, or in the middle of doing what he loves. If it doesn't go down like that then the rapper in my opinion wasn't true to his craft. No matter where a real one is or what they are doing they always are thinking/ writing/ singing/ freestyling new music. That way they will go out doing what they believed they were destined to do best.
