Not sure the genre is correct; this is a song with an almost classical feel, although not with classical instrumentation. Relaxing, easy to listen to from the opening (and repeating) guitar phrase. You will want to close your eyes and drift away.

Story behind the song
This song began as the opening guitar phrase which grew from a series of chords that arose from noodling with different and interesting fingerings and tones. The flute melody line easily fell into place on top of the main guitar phrase. The lead guitar (after the flute) melody was put together piecemeal while kind of trying to counter the smooth flowing flute just a bit. I envision sitting on a high mountain side (e.g., Handies Peak in Colorado) enjoying the peace and solitude where one is certainly "above it all".
