Story behind the song
This work has been performed several times but I only have inadequate live recordings of these concerts. Using EastWest sample software, I have prepared this virtual version which is better than any of these, and gives a real sense of the work in performance. An mp3 file is a much better promotional tool than sending out large and expansive persual scores, even supposing that modern MDs can read them! I thought it was now time to share it with a larger audience. Part two follows if anyone is interested to hear how it ends. Score and parts available; see my website.
