Lyrics
is the fire out i'm scared of getting burned but it's getting cold is the fire out and will you tend the coals before they turn to ash is the fire out i'm sorry if i already asked you this is it glowing hot when you're around is it a memory of embers we remember when you're gone CHORUS: and we'll meet again and we'll hug and smile and 'how have you been' and you ask those same old things 'how's life?' 'are you more like me?' but we both know 'fine' and 'no' is the fire red friendship is a thing i know i'm bad at fueling is the fire dead i'll close my eyes and put my hand out to test are you there yet i'm sorry i know i haven't spoken am i vocal when you come around and do i retreat when i can't see when we will meet again and if CHORUS: we'll still be friends... 'fine' and 'no' remember in a parking lot somewhere sitting and waiting for a way to get home you have my regrets and i don't want them back but one of these days i'll pick up the phone and call... CHORUS
