Story behind the song
I was just inspired by my girl Aaliyah who has a song about this same subject. This is not a real life story for me, but I know that some people are going through this right now. The character in this song has had a long crush on a guy friend, but he is stuck on his ex-girlfriend. She explains to the guy that she can love him way better than any lame, so he needs the real thing.
