Story behind the song
This is the Production containing the Rhymes Wellington layed down to my "B4" Beat. Is has been taking a while for us to get our internet Collaboration back to the old work flow. I had to stop to work on the last peice we have been doing together becasue my CPU just did not diliver anymore. Also I was getting a bit tired of sitting alone infront of my Computer and I started to concentrate more on Live Music by doing different Performences, as well with Patty Moon and solo. Right now I have two other Beatz coming up soon, I'll release them here in a couple of weeks, since I'm still waiting for the Rhymes Wellington is going to record this week. About the Production of "This is a Test":
the mix you are listening to kind of is a pre-mix as well as a pre-master. I'm not getting any further with this Equipment right now... ...still I would be happy about anything you can think of, that I can consider when it comes back to do the final Mix and Master!!! (22nd of September 2009)
Lyrics
"This is a Test" Words/Music written by Alan Wells/Master Nath.! Verse 1: You can't see me even with a helicopter spotlight/ wellington always rock right/ long nights in the Beatz Factory/ with Nathanael, please repeat after me/ I pledge allegiance to the United States of Consciousness/ to evade the apocalypse/ I'd rather place a kiss upon the lips/ of every single frog trying to unlock a princess/ Hook: This is a test of the emergency broadcast system/ raw rap wisdom/ contact mission control, we got a problem/ Illuminati rulers and nobody seem to want to stop them/ So I'm popping off at the lip/ mining for rhymes in this bottomless pit/ Every diamond I hit I fashion into a stake/ and use it to stab whack rappers in the face/ Verse 2: Because that's the only way to kill them, they're evil villains/ just like vampires they feed on children/ Three of the buildings I'd most like to blow up:/ Viacom, Time Warner and Sony, the whole trust/ >From gold records to gold dust/ It'd be so just, all the people would go nuts/ and those no nuts manufactured actors/ could drive their motherf*** ing Hummers out to pasture/ Poor bastards actually think they're getting rich/ competing to see who can be the most pathetic b*** / Once you sign a deal, the corporation owns you/ so I keep an extra change of clothes in the phone booth/ I've told the whole truth ever since I broke loose/ from the chains that sometimes took the shape of a cold noose/ but that's old news, let's get you up to date/ with another story from the reporter who doesn't wait/ Verse 3: See, I know music can be fun too/ but I'm trying to uncover truth like a gumshoe/ What the f*** you doing with your songs?/ My guess is nothing but trucks, jewels and thongs/ And don't nobody want to hear that sh** anymore/ It was played out in 2004/ This is 2009, the hour of the time/ everyone looking up at the mountain to climb/ 1000 divine eyes trained on one peak/ so are you human or just another dumb sheep/ tongue deep in the throat of Isis/ but you call her Mary because your soul is licensed/ to the federal reserve with the rest of the herd/ so the lesson you learned was to accept the word/ whether the message you heard made any sense at all/ here comes another interruption then we're back y'all/ Outro: Nathanael and wellington/ songs that dwell in cells within/ the body, gels and skeletons/ of long lost stellar relatives [Duration: 03:16] Copyright 2009 by Master Nath.! & Alan Wells
