Story behind the song
I wrote the parody lyrics for this song before the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs between The San Jose Sharks v. Anaheim Ducks. I truly believed that the Sharks were going to go all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. We had a tremendous regular season and the way the post-season ended was a real heart breaker. I am just now getting over the Sharks 1st round exit. Hopefully the 2009-10 season will see the Sharks finally live up to their potential and win the big prize.
