Story behind the song
One time my wife stopped smoking for a whole year before picking it back up again. The rest, including the "Kelli" name, is fiction. I have always liked this song; it's probably one of my favorites.
As with the other songs recorded during these sessions, the drums and bass sound great but the guitar mix isn't how I intended. Mike's friend Dave added some cool little keyboard parts, though. What this song REALLY needs is 12-string bass.
The Rhythm Dawgs have been known to play this one from time to time.
