Very versatile, from sensitive ballads to high energy rockin' that has no equal. Loves his audience, which is why his audience loves him.
At the moment, my band is me. I've founded some awesome bands in the past: Benn Gunn, Eightballs, and Homemade Jam (HMJ). But let's just at this time call it Dynamic Productions, which is me.

Story behind the song
This was Tom's first release, on his own EIGHTBALLS label in 1977, when few artists were operating independently. Transferred from the original wax to digital, the track has historical significance and it really rocks!
Lyrics
HEY! MR. RECORD MAN words & music by Tom Fair © 1977 Hey! Mr. Record Man! Pay me a hundred grand, Ia€™ve got to get my music to the world. Ia€™ve got the melody And youa€™ve got the company, Now help me get my music to the world. Ita€™s easy for you to upholster my luck, a€˜Cause youa€™ve got the lawyers and youa€™ve got the bucks. You spend it on jet planes, you spend it on tea a€“ Now howa€™s about spending some money on me? Hey! Mr. Record Man! I know you can do it if anyone can. Now, help me get my music to the world. You talk about image, you talk about taxes; Now leta€™s talk guitar, bass, keyboard and saxes. When youa€™re finished renovating your house in Bel Air, Leta€™s draw us up a budget a€“ get a record on the air. Hey! Mr. Record Man! Ia€™ve got to have a hundred grand. Help me get my music to the world, (Mr. Record Man) Help me get my music to the world, (Mr. Record Man) Help me get my music to the world.
