Q: Where did you grow up? A: New Jersey Q: What made you realize that music was your path? A: The devil made me do it... Q: How would you describe the music that you typically create? A: Commentaries on human nature Q: Who are your biggest musical influences? A: Oscar Brown Jr, Steely Dan, and the guy leading the elephant parade with his clarinet Q: What makes your music unique? A: who said it's unique? Q: Has there been one particular moment in your musical career that you're most proud of? A: Trapped by an unexpected blizzard in at a grand opening in Sagniaw Michigin, me and my band mates played a non stop 1 hour improvisation which may well have been the best music jam I've ever been part of. When I approached owners seeking praise, one guy looked at the other guy, turned to me and said " that was the worst piece of shit I've ever heard." Q: What's next for you? A: I don't know, but I'll let you know when it happens!

Story behind the song
The thing I know is that I don't know.  I know I'm here but where is that? An aging Romanian Jew, who was to become my father, philandered his way into the affections of a 20 year old hot Italian beauty who was desperate to get out her mothers powerful control.  So my scalawag dad hid from her 7 older brothers who intended to 'fix' him for robbing the cradle.  In any case, things worked out for me. But who knew!  Circumstances prevail and the future reveals itself at it's pleasure.  This beat goes on!
Lyrics
VERSE 1 If life was a canoe trip traveling waters far and wide, I'd avoid the raging rapids, hidden rocks and foaming tides If I was a detective blessed with powerful insight, I'd seek the clues and hidden truths within our pain and strife But life is a casino and you're just handed the cards, since you have to play the game, would be nice to know the odds (Intro riff into 2nd verse) VERSE 2 If my life was just a big sale at the hop'n, shop'n mall, I'd clip and save my coupons and really have a ball Wouldn't have to worry about right and wrong or good and bad, give and take or whatever difference that would make CHORUS Hiding in the corner and up against the wall, confident of nothing and heading for a fall Dialing for dollars, tossing pennies in the well, transitional performance buying more than I can sell..... (Big Dramatic break down into the sax or guitar lead ) VERSE 3 Life is what you make it, certainly no wishing well, so wipe your nose and clean your feet and give it your best sell Life ain't no cappuchino at a Saturday cafe, nothing is for nothing and for what you get you always pay Life ain't no bowl of cherries or cookies in the jar. You have to learn to live here and now and there and far
