Story behind the song
Bruce Norris, recording engineer and musician, has provided these online sources for my two 2009 July performances (about 6 minutes each) of Clarinet on the town by Ralph Herman with the Delta Concert Band (http://www.deltaconcertband.ca/).
The two video recordings are available on YouTube. The first performance was recorded July 7 at a party held to honour Edgar Dunning, who is one of the founders of the Delta Concert Band way back in 1964, and who was celebrating the half way mark between his 99th and 100th birthdays (99.5 birthday). The second rendition is at July 21 North Delta, BC Sunshine Hills Park summer outdoor concert.
