My first and also the last attempt in miking up the Mark IV for lead guitar tones. Just can't handle the loudness of tracking and monitoring a blasting 4x12 cab in my bedroom. Same guitar chain, Stingray 5 thru Sansamp RPM & Slate Drums.
Love this song to bits since '97. The initial bass tones in my earlier covers were pretty crappy so hopefully this time around, this piece served as a good platform to get a better mix.
Its the first time I'm attempting to play fingerstyle bass versus picked. I think I got away with it.
And finally experimenting with something I've never done before, which is to transcribe the vocal melody off a metal vocalist. I'm still contemplating if that works.
