Story behind the song
Written 9 months after the death of my sister in August of 2001. It was birthed out of a dream I had shortly before Ashlie's passing. In my dream I saw a storm, and was commanded to prophesy a Rainbow in Jesus' name. So I did, and a Rainbow broke through the clouds. I awoke from my dream only to see later that day a rainbow in front of my house. I prayed that night about the dream, but no answer came. The next morning we received the news of Ashlie's murder. My sister was a 20 year old mother of 2 children Ethan and Allison. Although she left this world too soon, she is with her God and Saviour in Heaven.
