Well, it's a song for Victoria! To be honest I don't really care if anyone else listens...
These are Mike Morgan's entries for the 2003 fifty song challenge, featuring some lyrics by David F. Cox
Lyrics
I couldn't write a song for audiences in stadiums
to gain attention from just anyone who'll hear
never penned a pompous anthem
heard by countless men at random
choking airwaves with it's wrestling for their ears
but a sigh, so nearly silent in the moonlight
like a stranded wisp of hair upon her face
brushed aside with feintest kisses
gentle hands, unspoken wishes
I could whisper in a quiet secluded place
of how she fills me, strikes me motionless with wonder
a sense of awe inspires my soul to stand and gaze
almost to tremble as I hold her
feel the closeness of her shoulders
to stir with joy and bathe in her embrace
and the stirring and the swaying of our senses
the entangling and brushing of our limbs
becomes a storm among the trees
with bending branches, yielding leaves
helplessly dancing to the passions of the wind
and so I'm tossed and thrown in my desirings for her
amid the sensual mist arising from her skin
to cloak her body as we move
a clinging heat for lips to soothe
to hear her sigh before me, restless, pale and limp
So I am strong, filled with glory like a conqueror
the loving ruler of this soft and silken land
of hills that writhe and shine
coves and valleys, curves and lines
her flailing passions lured and tamed at my command
