Acoustic rock and folk rock with country, blues, and American Songbook influences.
Formerly "Dr. C and the Stratocats," I'm now on a solo career as "Dr. C," but I had to change my stage name here because someone else had already claimed it. My music strives for melody above all else; I strive to make my songs memorable, so you can whistle a tune immediately. I see melody as the element most lacking in contemporaryr music. I love Sinatra and the Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, anyone who can write a memorable "tune."

Just another river song.
Lyrics
~ River Song Let me go where the river runs deep Let me lie down and let me sleep Let me flow on down· where the river will I'm just a ripple~ I'm just a rill I can't ever make the current still And I can't control the tide Let me go where the river runs strong Let me lie down and float along Let me flow on down where the river will I'm just a ripple, I'm just a rill I can't ever make the current still And I can't control the tide People tell me that I'm not concerned enough, That life's too tough to dream I reply that no man is as blind as he Who cannot see the stream Let me go where the river runs cold Let the water refresh my soul Let me flow on down where the river will I'm just a ripple, I'm just a rill I can't ever make the current still And I can't control the tide Let me go where the river runs still Let me dive in and drink my fill Let me flow on down· where the river will I'm just a ripple, I'm just a rill I can't ever make the current still And I can't control the tide You can pray to any god that suits your soul but you can't control the stream Flow on to the ocean where the tides will join your spirit to the dream
