Story behind the song
David has fled from Saul, Jonathan's father, fearing for his life. They pledge eternal love for each other and part for the last time. In this virtual recording the solo parts are taken by tenors (David) and basses (Jonathan) The whole work is a secular cantata for men's voices, soloists and orchestra and is available for performance in 2010. Would ideally suit the many large Gay Men's choirs throughout the world.
