File under "space prog"..... space rock with progressive tendencies.
Renowned space-rock bassist Dave Adams and notorious prog-rocker Milo Black join forces, resurrecting songs by Dave's late-80s band Osiris and adding many new twists and much new material. Dave and Milo are aided and abetted by a host of other guest musicians, including Nik Turner and Bridget Wishart (both ex-Hawkwind), James Hodkinson (Pre-Med, Xoo, Assassins of Silence), Kim Novak (ex-Rasperry Silk), Cyndee Lee Rule (the grand dame of space-rock violin) and many more.

Lyrics
I left you at the transit station in high orbit Mantis-like, I watched the docking arms retract and fold I saw the vapour pouring from the thrusters I still don't know when once again I will hold you close I can see you on the holo-net, in living colour But I can't feel you breathe or touch your perfect face Your alien companion always sits beside you I wonder if sometimes he takes my place If I had a time machine, I would have my time with you again If I had a teleport then I would be beside you now If I had a cloning tank then I could be with you and still be here Technology brought us together Technology is keeping us apart 17.9476938 light years Give or take a million miles and a heartbeat Are you lonely on your far-off planet? I can feel you in my mind when you think of me Telepathic energy flowing through the endless void Reaches out and wakes me from a dream of you and I A thread of light through mathematical abstraction 100 million million miles apart If I had a time machine, I would have my time with you again, over and over If I had a teleport then I would be beside you now, faster than the speed of light If I had a cloning tank then I could be with you and still be here Technology brought us together Technology helps us to survive Technology lets me know you're breathing Technology keeps the flame alive
