Story behind the song
Autobiographical: about the experience I went through when I almost died. I got hit by a car, rushed to the county hospital in an ambulance and 3 surgeries (2 brain, 1 leg) and a coma later I'm still alive to share my experience with any and everyone who might be going through or have gone through something traumatic and LIFE altering. The surgeon told my loved ones that were in the waiting room: "We've done all we can do, the rest is up to him and GOD"......and they waited....and waited.....and waited.... until I woke from the coma. During my hospitalization the Dr. told me that if the paramedics would have got me there 4 to 5 minutes later, I wouldn't have lived to tell about it......
