Story behind the song
I was inspired by the idea of envisioning repentance and reconnection with God as a road we traveled. It should be a well-traveled road for a Christian! The music and melody was written last year but I had no words, then the "Back to You" phrase came to me with the female duet part and the rest of the song built itself around that.
