Alternative Brit Rock
The MisKicks comprises a core of three performers, one based in France and two in the UK. We are spending 2007 writing, recording and generally courting disaster on a number of fronts. We plan to release an album in early 2008 - if Dick's dog doesn't eat it first. Again.

Story behind the song
Trace the Bass and Steve Nylander performed with Tim de Ferrars on vocals, keys, drums & guitars. Dick Langford turned up on a very big motorbike, helped with the drums a bit, and mixed it. Thanks guys.
Lyrics
Nose to Tail (ReUnion) Welcome to this place called Haight Ashbury. We're not seriously going to have a fight over this. Are we? VERSE 1 Picking over last month's mail, Messages stacked nose to tail. The more the text, the less effect. But who am I to tell? VERSE 2 I open doors to dusty rooms, Each one a scene from yesterday. Windows let the air come in, But memories won't blow away. This day a powder keg has been ignited. VERSE 3 You wrote a letter every day I read them all and burned in hell. The less the text, the more effect. But who am I to tell? VERSE 4 I turn the pages day by day Flicking backwards through our lives. Twenty years ago this day, And still that precious memory survives. BRIDGE That night I tried to sleep under a tree, But sleep would not come. The Confederate forces were massed on the other side of the orchard. But when I rose before dawn, they were gone. Their fear was greater than mine. I learned a lesson. CHORUS I'm back from my travels And the voyage was just inside my head. This is where the plot unravels, Can't I join the grateful dead? I'm riding wild emotions, Like running horses nose to tail. It's all there written in your hand, A thousand words that said....we failed.
