Story behind the song
My friend is a successful dance/hip hop recording and video artist. If i am not mistaken, he hadn't tried his hand at composing yet when he came to me with some lyrics. Just coming out of a bad relationship, he wanted to put these lyrics to music. We worked on it together - and after some time arranging, i forwarded piano and vocals to a producer who sequenced the music tracs. Michael (who i've been like a sister to since Kindergarten) and i went into the recording studio and laid down the vocals. About a year later we went to Studio C, Continental Cable in MA and shot the video (see You Tube - Kara Shea Michael Grella)
