First mic-to-speaker test of the dual caliber. COC/ZZ Top inspired riffing that I had in my head. Les Paul for rhythm-1 track, ESP SG for lead-one track. Bass still through the POD. No mastering. Steven Slate drums (ringy kit I think) Crank it!
Heavy, cool, groove rock.
Trying to put together a heavy rock band that is interesting to the listener as well as the players. Think heavy shuffle/groove with free flowing bluesy/rock and roll attitude. Not all songs have to have heavy, dropped, distorted guitars to make an impact. I am also about moody accoustic tunes too. I need a bass player, drummer, lead guitarist and maybe a singer. For home demos I can make things start, but going on stage with a drum machine is not an option.(insert drummer joke here)

Story behind the song
I get an idea in my head, then go downstairs, plug in, hit record and play. Then I stop, go back and add the bass, then add the drums, then some improv lead just for the feel I have in my mind. If the sh** works, I'll revisit it and polish it up. Simple story, only this time I wanted to try micing the boogie rather than using the POD. Must say, I like the initial results.
