"Deteyuku Hi" ("The Day I Leave") is a song I wrote in Japanese about leaving one place for another. It's a struggle between wanting to forget the past and not wanting to forget it...caught between feeling excited and feeling scared about moving on

Story behind the song
This song is just your typical "leaving" song. I drew my inspiration from the feelings I'm having about leaving for college. The title "Deteyuku Hi" means something to the effect of "The Day I Leave". I hope maybe these lyrics can speak to people who've experience similar feelings...caught between wanting to forget the past and not wanting to forget it...caught between feeling excited and feeling scared about moving on.
