track 03, a song that came to me rather quickly, it's sort of a thank-you song to friends of mine.
acoustic folk drake hush
melodic acoustic hush folk
hey i'm abode, i'm 27 and write acoustic hush folk - inspired by the likes of 70's folk artists like nick drake, leonard cohen, simon and garfunkel, roy harper etc - with modern influences such as stina nordenstam, elliott smith, and air to name a few... thanks for listening it's much appreciated.

Story behind the song
this song is about my friends, who seem to know how to deal with me pretty well... heh, it's sorta the thank-you for the times they swing by, or drag me out (even though i might not want to) cuz we always end up having fun, and the best conversations... i'm smiling writing this because i'm thinking about them... and they're funny. (:
Lyrics
like clockwork you've always had perfect timing show up half past two, long after the nights rolled in... and i need nothing more, as we back from this door, in conversation. and there's no awkwardness in any of the silences. slide back this balcony door, breathe on this city some more, and i won't believe in a few more hours follows the sun. you've always had a perfect way with words. even explaining the simplest thing that might have occurred. and i can see in your eyes the things you don't wanna say. and we just seem to know some things are better left that way. slide back this balcony door (breathe on) breathe on this city some more and i won't believe in a few more hours follows the sun.... (breathe on) slide back this balcony door (breathe on) breathe on this city some more and i won't believe in a few more hours follows the sun.... and if i've ever amounted to anything.....it was ONLY because of your inspiration.
