Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

Story behind the song
We owned and operated a Christmas Tree Farm in Lake Fork Township Illinois from 1969 till 2005. This one of the by-products from a tree stump on the plantation.

NEAT CLOCK!! The tree lives on in your timepiece Verne!! Awesome! Another good story. Is there a larger photo of your clock? My husband would enjoy seeing it. He will be having some surgery in Dec so he is currently making himself a cane!! Said if he had to use one he might as well enjoy looking at it, lol!
