Monophobia are a 5-piece indie band based in London who perform regularly in the West End and in the more notorious clubs around North London. Influenced most strongly by the British rock bands of the '60s and '90s, there are also dance, pop, folk and perhaps even disco influences in some of the songs. Current line-up comprises Tony (voice & guitar), Phil (bass & synth), Zizi (keyboard & voice) and Nimesh (guitar). The new drummer will be announced soon.

Story behind the song
This was written after a band split early in 2001. Phil wanted to knock the band on the head, but after a few weeks clubbing in North London and watching all his mates' bands playing, realised that he could never give it up. Playing music was his addiction.
