Chinatown Jam - acoustic

I composed the main theme in this song circa 1988. Back then, it was purely pentatonic. While it is more or less in the key of B now, the pentatonic roots are still apparent. Like most of my songs from 1995, it is largely improvised.
I brought Endeavour to life in 1995 when I recorded 9 of my compositions to DAT. I finally made a CD master in 2002 complete with liner notes and artwork. For various reasons, Endeavour was dormant until 2007. Then, took another relatively brief haitus until the summer of 2009. Since then, I've been doing some serious work on new songs. I hope to have 8-10 new songs ready for the public sometime in the next 200 years. ;^)

Story behind the song
This song went through several incarnations. In fact, I had recorded it while playing a Korg T3 at my uncle's house back in 1992. I then went back and added cymbals very much in the style of early Bill Bruford. Unfortunately, this recording was lost. Around that same time, I even performed a version with vocals. I called it Crystal Castle. I sang in a similar style to 70's Peter Hammill. This 1995 recording is acoustic and purely instrumental. Again, played on a Baldwin spinet upright piano. I did, however, record an electronic version in 1995 too where I play it on an Ensoniq VFX.
