Story behind the song
If you head over to Overclocked Remix's forums, you may come across something called the "IronMix Challenge". In this, remixers of game songs have one week to mix a song under certain requirements. In this latest one, the IronMix Challenge: Lite Edition (or IMC: LE), we had to make a mix of one of two songs from Mario Kart 64 (Rainbow Road or Frappe Snowland) in any style. This, my humble submission, received 6th place, of a total of eight competitors! Not exactly anything to write home about, but I think it was a more than decent placing for my first song contest.
