White and nerdy. Now, with 25% more nerd.
Averis (Casey Carter), a Jacksonville, North Carolina native, is a young emcee making moves in the North Carolinian and Virginian hip hop underground. He started his career in January 2009, recording with Rykashay, a female emcee and producer from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Then, a long time Internet acquaintance, StayHigh (James White) from Statesville, North Carolina, approached him about working together and within six months they had finished an as of yet unreleased album tentatively titled the AK Tracks. From there, Averis began making music with his blood cousin, Tekone (Chad Carter), Virginia Beach, Virginia representative and Forbidden City co-founder, and they began recording immediately. In less than six months they have written and produced nearly 40 tracks, and are waiting impatiently for the new year and what the release of their album "Averis+Tekone presents... C.Carters" will bring. Averis is now recording for the C.Carters project, Mike Walla (Michael Woolard) of Forbidden City's new album, and various Forbidden City affiliated mixtapes and projects.

Story behind the song
Stayhigh made a beat and uploaded to his soundclick page with quran verses to boot - I wrote a song about God as a woman.
Lyrics
She's my Allah, Oh my God, my Buddha And who could tell me different Wanna kiss her 'cause she's the vision And it's perfection, It's my mission, To get to exstacy or nirvana, I want her next to me, A little priestess blessing me each evening, I need her, And when I die it's Easter 'cause I'm revived I've seen her, undressed but that's a test, although I'd like to touch, what I do isn't quite enough I know it, Many a poet have spoken about her, How the beauty and intellect intersect, And in the sex, She's the matron of ancient Kama Sutra, I'ma do my Best to show her what she means to me Even if it means making decisions about changing religions, To fit her, She so sweet, never bitter she holds me, Tight, all night in the warmth of her love, Then I wake up in the morning in the warmth of the sun... Because... (She makes the sunshine) (Second verse) And I know I know I know I kn-ow, I know I know I know I kn-ow, I know I know, Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, But when she comes back home the next day, Unh, she gets me, Down on my knees, praising her, she's my amazing grace, How sweet the sound, I hope she keeps me round, For eternity, I love her certainly, Because she puts me at ease with each sermon she sings, I'm permanently hers, I know she'll never burn me, 'Cause I heard in heaven there's a seat reserved for me, Each word she breathes is a kiss from God, On the cheek, never the lips, it's incredible bliss, My savior exists 'cause it was born from her hips, She's affording me just one chance to show her, I know her in and out, and it's what I'm grinning bout, As long as the sin is out of my heart, she's in, Lord Jesus... I don't need no more reasons, I'm believing every moment in all four seasons, With her beside me there's nothing I cain't achieve and, I'm receiving every gift that she gives, I live, To lend, a helping hand to all of her kids, It's my calling, you can call it what it is But some day I know we're gonna watch the sunset together, Forever, until then whatever the weather, I know... (She makes the sunshine)
