Gotta love this Gabe and Dan,
Yes I can hear some Eagles,but the intro really made me think of the Allman Brothers,one of my favorites :)

What a clean sound, Gabe. I'm an old Eagles fan, and you got a little bit of their sound in this song. Great vocals!

Real nice melody. Has that 70's California country rock sound. Eagles, Dave Mason. Your son is playing a very tasty guitar lead. Piano adds nicely. Really like your bass line by the way. Nice work.

I don't believe I heard the old version, if I have I can't remember it, so this is new to me. I really like the song, has a very nice feel, great vocals as usual and tasty guitar licks just enough to support the melody, never overdone as to take away. Great job Gabe and Dan, I see a great team, a dynamic duo developing here.

Nice job on the updated sound, Gabe. :) I liked the old version, but this one sounds more on the pop side. :)
Nothing wrong with remaking of a song..sometimes you wonder if you can improve it with what you know now, as you generally know more at a later date, than what you knew when you first cut it. :)

Well now ya know i liked that old version 'cause it had that big 50's feel...but this version has it's own merits. I thought the whole tune has a much more contemporary sound; the piano was upbeat real well played. The vox seemed to have a bit more up front presence. Not sure how you got Eric Clapton to play on your last two songs but send him my way will ya? GREAT guitar tones and playing. Sweet vocal harmonies and it still has that very easy going flow with a timeless message. Well done collab here with Dan! Liked that little pic too!
