Story behind the song
Bri and I were in the studio one day working on my album "Dedication" when i realized that it didnt have an intro song... Now i was not about to just say... "Hi my name is..." It had to be a hot song. So I told Bri what type of beat i was looking for... (gangsta, uplifting, and fun)... so he really put his heart into it (as he does all his beats) and it turned our REALLY awesome... I started writing lyrics basically reppasenting where i came from, where i am, and where im going and asked my rap group to each put down a few rymes. They had been working with me on the album all summer and it wouldnt be complete if they werent on the intro. In the end the song turned our gangsta!
