Light hearted song about a loving relationship with one's car
chrome windshield photograph muscle car
I was a member of NSAI and went to Nashville several times for training camps. I was a fiction/non-fiction writer before I became a songwriter.
Sheila Dixon began writing songs approximately 12 years ago. She brought a poem to an Orlando “Nashville Songwriter’s Association International" meeting to start out. She met SusieCool (Susan Foster Trewick) there and they co-wrote “We Belong Together Through All Time". Over the years they co-wrote another 17 plus songs. Those are available on Soundclick as "The Healing Band". Besides writing with SusieCool, Sheila worked with another NSAI member Stephen Desjardins. They wrote “My First Love" which they had produced by the Beaird Group in Nashville.

Story behind the song
It came from a nail polish color!! Sheila's friend owned a corvette which won first place in a car show. Then she thought of the idea to make it a song about a car, but not letting on to that till near the end. She took it to a local Songwriters group and Susie asked to add music. The same group suggested we send it to car talk.
