Rare Bird Productions is in fact a one woman project. I would like to have other musicians involved, especially for acoustic instruments, but at this moment it's just me, my synthesizers and my sampler.

Story behind the song
This composition was based on ‘Rare bird', a song by the German rock-group Hoelderlin. The lyrics of this song were based on the live of Friedrich Hölderlin, the German poet where the group was named after. I wrote it for Jan de Rooy, the violin teacher who was quite enthusiastic about ‘Branoul'. I wrote it in three days in July 1993 and finally decided to record it myself with synthesizers.
