I only write music for other peoples lyrics. I'm able to record in my home (MIDI) studio of the quality you can hear in the songs here. I can play the piano, and a little bit of guitar, bass, harmonica, saxophone and trumpet. My only wish is to write a song that will be professionally recorded. If you have lyrics and need music, please contact me. Check out my songs there are many that need lyrics! All songs are available for licensing Tom The song Heaven seems to be the clear favorit of my songs. I gets quite a few listening everyday. The lyrics are written by Doug Lewis and the musical idea came from my son. "Heaven" is now featured on the compilation CD "Cheezy Music" at Music75.com.

Lyrics
Cannery Row I was strollin’ through some Galveston arcade Saw an old pinball machine that I once played With my red-haired girlfriend many summers ago Then I pictured how we danced there in the street When a blind old fiddler played for us so sweet Near the carnival that night on Cannery Row I remember holding hands for sev’ral blocks Kneeling by her with a tiny velvet box And her voice upon the soft wind whispering “no” How I fought in lonely darkness to forget Mem’ries of her sad and misty silhouette Disappearing from my life on Cannery Row Sometimes those old mem’ries seem like Ferris Wheels Street fair tilt-a-whirls and carousels Turning in my mind till I can almost feel Her love in the arms of someone else And for years I thought I felt her ev’rywhere Sorrow’d wet my cheeks if saw scarlet hair Or a fiddler summon yesterday with his bow I guess even now some old pinball machine Raises up the ghosts of blue and restless dreams Dancing me back with her down on Cannery Row Sometimes those old mem’ries seem like Ferris Wheels Street fair tilt-a-whirls and carousels Turning in my mind till I can almost feel Her love in the arms of someone else ©2009 Robert George
