The possible lovechild of Ella Fitzgerald, Tori Amos and Vince Clark, Casee has been writing music for roughly four years now, after several years singing professionally on the cabaret circuit in London. She's a self taught pianist and vocalist, who is currently also trying to teach herself guitar as it's more portable than a piano... she has appeared on BBC Radio York, is only two degrees of musical separation from KT Tunstall (having supported KT Tunstall's support act Jess Gardham at York Pride last year) and was a triple semifinalist on the UK Songwriting Contest in 2008. She loves random challenges, and two years running has completed the challenge to write 14 songs in 28 days for February Album Writing Month, with topics as diverse as string, zombies, dingoes, whether Tim Burton's cows are normal, and kittens, as well as the usual girl-with-piano fare. For more information about her, to hear more of her work, join her mailing list or just to see what she's up to, please take a trip to http://www.caseewilson.co.uk - kettle's on! Also, she does blog, so check it out for liner notes, biography information and general witterings about the perils of the music industry.

Lyrics
I'm lying awake, it's 5am The city's asleep, it's raining again Where are you now? It feels like I'm hanging by a thread It's colder than hell here in my head But I don't know how to tell you I miss you now I don't understand it after all that we've been through I miss you now I'd turn the clock back if I thought that it would save you You always said I think too much I live in a dream, I'm out of touch I drift away The stories we told were our own special dance The light went out long before we had a chance To make it safe and mean it but I miss you now I don't understand it after all that we've been through I miss you now I'd turn the clock back if I thought that it would save you This doesn't happen when skies are blue and life is moving on I always find a way to make it easier to bear But somehow the sheets of rain reflect the pain that I cannot cast aside And everything I do reminds me of what could have been I miss you now I don't understand it after all that we've been through I miss you now I'd turn the clock back but I don't think that it will save you
