There was an old crab apple tree in an orchard at my old elementary school that had this perfect large branch you could lay in. I used to go to this tree when I needed to be alone outside and think. I would ponder on who God is and all sorts of other things affecting my life at the time. The tree has since been cut down and the orchard done over in favor of “progress”. A lot of life-changing decisions happened in that tree. It’s a place I even think about today that brings me peace. I think this song captures the significance of this tree for me.
