Story behind the song
Driving along the hills - going home again and up ahead there was a field of wildflowers. Irresistible - I stopped the car and wandered "Among the Wildflowers".- Grasshoppers and butterflies abound. It was a beautiful moment and made me feel like a kid again. This tune has a little Vangelis feel to it with the effects. Big old upright bass and strings bring the song to life. A little dream-like piano in the distance and some smart brass blended with a little electronica. Back to basics with a sweet tune for a day of chilling and communing with nature - Give it a listen and see what you think.
