Acoustic, Alternative, Blues and Rock
I had my first 4 track cassette recorder when I was 16 and I've still got most of the recordings, but you won't find those here! Some funny, some stupid, some ok bits, lots of rubbish! 30 years later I'm still writing and recording my own stuff - drum machine, bass, guitars and keyboards - (which I'm learning). Soundclick is breathing a bit of new life into my music - it's giving me an outlet, a meeting space, a place of inspiration. I hope that in the coming year, there will be some collaborations and swapping of music, thoughts and ideas. I do seem, however, to be spending an awful lot of time at this computer.........

Sweet smooth groove...love the way this song glides along...subtle, sweet love song. Kewl piano over laid back strumming.

I love this version as well! The piano solo in the end fits the mood of the piece very nicely. Excellent work!

If anybody´s interested in learning how an AC pop number works, listen to "Waiting for the sun"
This is excellent work, John!
Great vocal performance and lyrics. Acoustic guitars panned very intelligent, and you are the master of using synth pads that go with the guitars, like glued together. This is just wonderful.
The piano solo reminds me of Bruce Hornsby quite a bit, mostly petatonic style, I would love to hear some chromatic runs maybe, or one or the other blue note and: JUNIOR, I AM NOT USED TO FADE OUTS ON SONGS. Hey, you are a gifted musician. I always thought fades are something for people who are running out of ideas; and I am concinced you are not!
So, please, give me a REAL END!
Well, you know I am joking, but there´s a little seriousness in this, still.
Anyway, John this is a wonderful piece of music and exactly what I want to hear at the beginning of spring (That´s here in the norhtern hemisphere)
Andreas
Lovely! I can feel it. Cheers!
