At 6:30 every morning the rhythm section of Lathrop High School Jazz Ensemble would chat about music while the teacher found his cup off coffee and took attendance. Eventually we decided to start a Jazz Combo. We played at University Alaska Fairbanks Jazz Fest for an adjudication and ever since we have been practicing and booking gigs. We play a mix of jazz, rock, punk, folk, and blues.
