once upon a time when i was young when life was carefree and all about fun there was a place i could go to relieve my frustation near my house at the local gas station I was best friends with 2 guys, eddie and dean eddie was the boss and dean pumped gasoline whenever i went there we would crack mad jokes and eddie would hook me up with free cokes everyday after school i would pay them a visit especially when i was down, they'd lift my spirit but sometimes dean would act like a jerk he'd tell me to leave and finish my homework eddie said he'd give me a job after class when i grew older he'd teach me to pump gas then he did something which made me quite pissed he hired someone else and broke his promise that was only the beginning of the lies one day dean told me he had a surprise he was going to take me on his sailing ship and were going to have a fishing trip i ran straight home and was very excited i told my parents where i'd been invited they knew i wanted to go, it was clear my dad took me shopping to buy fishing gear a few days before i went to confirm but was very shocked by what i had learned dean and i weren't going to go on vacation because he and eddie had sold the gas station for the next few weeks i was very depressed my parents tried to help, they did their best i convinced my dad to go to other gas stations because going to the old one brought back too many emotions this all happened a long time ago, around '93 but my dad said he saw dean recently the situation was quite strange indeed because he saw dean at a party for Eid I didnt understand why dean was around my dad told me his new job was as a clown i couldnt help but laugh at his new occupation but thats what he get for his promise breakin'
