Story behind the song
Browsing the drum beats on my MRS-8 one day I stumbled upon a 5/4 time signature in the jazz beats...Coooolness abounds I thought. I'll try and play/record "Take 5" by Dave Brubeck. It really started flowing nicely after a couple day of practicing. Just count it out like this I figured out. 1-2-3-1-2. It's like counting one measure of 3/4 and one measure of 2/2 back to back for the entire length of the song. Played piano, bass, and electric guitar, in that order.
