the "band" is me. i love indy pop! british indy pop is my favorite. i was heavily into bands like the house of love, xtc, echo & the bunnymen, the smiths, the pixies (my fellow americans), the cure, simple minds, tears for fears, thomas dolby, prefab sprout, the wonderstuff...i could go on for days... i did these tunes as a demo way back in 1993-94. they're short on purpose. i never intended them for public consumption. the plan was to find other (better) musicians - and a proper singer - to play the parts that i'd arranged; and to only use these recordings to help the intended musicians to learn their parts. the one titled "i wanna be ignored" is a twist on the title of the stone roses' amazing "i wanna be adored". now, let's see how much ignoring i can get on this site ;)
