It's a dance track updating an old song. There's already more guitar added. The vocal was started mid-May 09 but it's not all finished.

It is for listeners to decide how they would describe my music when they have a chance to hear a range of material. I've only just started recording. Keep watc
I played bass in a band at Walbottle school, the T-set, with Dave Robinson from Throckley, Bri Swanson, Lemington, and Ken Wright, also Throckley, and started writing songs at this stage. I continued for a while in Dobbin with Bri and Ian Shield, also of Lemington, doing vocals and bits and pieces under Bri's direction - and did more writing. We also did a couple of them together. I then spent a few years concentrating on work and family, with some more writing in fairly recent times, until the lure of performing again (since 2005) became too much to resist! The songwriting had to go on hold for a while as I continued to work full-time until Oct 2010 whenever possible but I have written a few new songs over the last couple of years such as 'Butterflies'. See more details below and check for regular updates.

Story behind the song
This is becoming boring,........but it's a tribute song. The last (of my covers, at least. I think.) INSPIRED by a real person, but not ABOUT anyone, I just made it up! I've had this planned and written since the early part of 2008 but plans went into freefall and it's taken longer to record than I originally hoped. Published by Hal Leonard Permissions sought
Lyrics
Backing track to: Touch my body, body, touch my heart, Touch my body, body, touch my soul. Hey! Paula, I want to make love to you, Hey! Hey! Paula, I want to hold you all night through, Tell you I love you, whisper in your ear, Take all your troubles away, my love, my love. Hey! Paul, I want to kiss you in June, In the Fall and December, in fact all year through. I want to be what you want me to be(!) 'Cause I know you'll take care of me, my love, my love. Jointly: I want to touch you where it matters to you, I want to love you all our lives through. In good times and tough times, in sad times you know, We'll love in the sunshine and all through the snow. Repeat v1 together with last line m solo: Paula, I'll always be there, for you, for you.
