A song about being on top...falling to the bottom of the bottle, and crawling to the top again

Lyrics and melody producer, singer/songwriter. Looking for collaboration with other artists.
I'm essentially a solo artist...lyric writer, melody creator, who's driving ambition is always to create a meaningful song. I use bits and pieces of personal experience....like all writers, but mix in current events and important issues of the day to influence my "stories"

Story behind the song
This song is more or less a mini autobiography. My life wrapped up in one three minute musical story.
Lyrics
The old man sits sippin' coffee at the cafe down the street. And if you'd care to know him, lend a smile and take a seat. You can see it in his knowing eyes some stories he could tell. So pull up your chair, get comfy there, you'll be here for a spell. He's been a preacher, a teacher, a dealer, and a healer. A father, a brother, a gambler and a thief. A terror on the golf course, a joker and a goof. But now he's drinkin' coffee instead of 80 proof. He's lived at times with others, but now he lives alone. In the pulpit or on a barstool...he's always at home. Don't think you're gonna change him he's changin' everyday. Just shake his hand and say hello... he'll soon be on his way. He'll tell you of his children, the pride shows in his face. Sometimes he cries, he's told some lies throughout his fall from grace. But since fallin' to the bottom, he's crawlin' to the top. Made up his mind he still has time, and now he'll never stop. He's been a preacher a teacher, a dealer, and a healer. A father, a brother, a gambler and a thief. A terror on the golf course, a joker and a goof. But now he's drinkin' coffee... instead of 80 proof. He's lived at times with others, but now he lives alone. In the pulpit or on a barstool he's always at home. In the pulpit or on a barstool he's always at home
